To answer your question, the hole was natural. I go to school right next to a redwood forest. Hiking, I found it one day and it worked perfect for these photos.
I know what you mean about school, hard to concentrate on artwork. But that didn't stop me from doodling during class.
No problem, your creations seem quite stark and emotive. I love the overlays, lighting arrangements and the incorporation of maths in some of them for a change.

Out of curiosity was the rabbit hole natural? I'm guessing it was but its kinda hard to tell from the size of the picture.
Thanks for the compliment, I really need to get some of my newer stuff scanned as everything I have posted so far is between a year and about six years old most on the older side. University isn't the most conducive environment for my sketch creation though... I actually have to pay attention during lectures these days.
